My design journey has been more of a jungle gym than a ladder

Over the years I've worked across communication design, product design, service design, AI products, enterprise systems, and research.

What I've learnt along the way

Communication Design

🎨

Through presentations, and teaching Design History at Parsons, I've spent some time turning dense ideas into a digestible information!

Product Design

📱

Designed user flows, prototypes, interfaces, and component systems in collaboration with product and engineering teams.

Designed a life-size game

🧩

Co-designed with the kids themselves, it lifted monsoon-season participation 32% and was later translated into Bengali and Telugu.

My fav internet corners relevant for CivAI

Uses data, storytelling, and interaction to make complex ideas easy to understand.

Would love to explore such data viz as a designer!

They explore how games and interactive experiences can help decision makers understand human impact.

This substack treats AI as a technology to be understood and debated, rather than inevitable future.

Currently saying yes to coffee!

I recently moved to the Bay Area and am excited to show up for the local design community in person.
